Kurt A. Körber made his first sales call from a telephone booth. Not until he received a firm commitment from the customer did he rent the workshop he needed to carry out the order. This is how our company's history begins in 1946, at least according to legend. The workshop was located in the basement of an industrial building in the Bergedorf district of Hamburg. It started out as a repair shop in which older cigarette makers were painstakingly repaired. But within a very short space of time became a company that developed innovative cutting-edge technologies for customers all over the world. Has this sparked your curiosity? Then go on a journey through the Körber Group's history.
Would you like to experience history interactively, listen to people who were knew Kurt A. Körber back in the day, or ask questions about the company's history? Then immerse yourself in the Körber Xperience.
